COVID-19 – Due to the impacts of the novel coronavirus and the current mandate in NY:

• Holy Qurbana on Tuesday, Mar 17^th for Mid-Lent service has been canceled.
• All evening prayers, for Wednesdays and Saturdays, are canceled.
• All post church activities are canceled, such as in-person spiritual organization meetings and Sunday School.
• There will be no refreshments after church (when there is service) to reduce interactions among parishioners.

1. Baby Girl – Mr. Midhun & Mrs. Jemy Chacko were blessed with a baby girl, Amaya Chacko, Wednesday, Feb. 26th. Please keep the baby and family in your prayers.

1. Great Lent Begins – Monday, Feb 24th
   • Wednesday Evening Prayer – During the Lenten season, there will be evening prayer on Wednesdays at 6:30pm, in addition to Saturday evening prayers.
   • Lilio (Midnight) Prayer – During the Great Lent, Lilio prayer will be held at 7:30am every Sunday, with a 15-min break before morning prayer.
2. Shoe Placement – Please be sure not to leave your shoes on the basement steps, as this is a safety hazard. There are children and elderly who could trip on them while going downstairs. When entering the church, kindly place your shoes on the shelves constructed or at least in the lobby and out of the pathways.

1. Passing of Mrs. Mariamma George – the grandmother of Mrs. Tigi Abraham on Sunday in India. She was 98 and is survived by her husband and children. Mrs. Tigi Abraham will be traveling to India to attend the funeral. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.
2. Passing of Mr. P.C. Antony – the father of Mrs. Geethamol George in Kerala on Monday. He was 96 years old. The funeral will take place on Thursday, February 20th at St. George Orthodox Church, Kavumbhagom, Thiruvalla. Mrs. Geetha George is currently in India. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.
3. Monthly Committee Meeting – There will be a monthly scheduled Committee Meeting Sunday, Feb 23rd. All committee members are kindly requested to attend.
4. FOCUS Meeting – The next FOCUS Meeting will take place on Friday, Feb 21st at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. George Palakkaddan at 6pm.
5. Tournament Meeting – There will be an Anil John Memorial Basketball tournament meeting on Friday, Feb 21st in church at 7pm.

1. Fast of Nineveh (3-Day Lent) – The Fast of Nineveh will be held from Monday, Feb. 3rd to the 5th.  There will be evening prayer everyday during the fast and will be concluded with Holy Qurbana on Wednesday, Feb. 5th at 6:30PM.
2. Education Day – The Sunday School will be hosting Education Day for all sunday school students on Saturday, Feb. 8th, from 2 to 6pm. Rev. Fr. Andrew Daniel will be our guest speaker. Please remember to give in your $5 registration fee to Amy George or Danniya Samuel.
3. Ordering More Holy Qurbana Books – Just a reminder, if you would like to order Holy Qurbana or Common Prayer books, please stop by the office to submit your name and requested quantity to the Secretary, along with payment to the Treasurer. The cost of each book is $25.  The last day to submit your order and amount owed will be Sunday, Feb. 9th.
