Passing of Mrs. Omana Melethil – sister of Mr. John Mathew Arikupuram, on Saturday at Kodumon in Kerala. She was around 70 years old. The funeral took place on Monday. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.

GROW One Day Conference – The GROW Ministry will be conducting an in-person conference at three different locations on Saturday, March 19th beginning at 9am. The main speaker will be Phoebe Farag Mikhail on the theme ‘Women of Worship’ based on Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.” In this area, the conference will be held at our parish, St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Levittown, NY. Wednesday Evening Prayer – During the Lenten season, there will be evening prayer on Wednesdays at 6:30pm, in addition to Saturday evening prayers.

MOSC Association Meeting – The Malankara Association elected 7 new bishops for the church, during the meeting on Friday, February 25th beginning at 2am. Thank you to Dr. Paul Thottathil and Mr. John Joseph, our Malankara Association Members, for attending, voting, and representing this parish.
Men’s Forum –The next Men’s Forum meeting will take place on Sunday, March 6th at 4:30pm online. All men over the age of 50 are welcome to attend. Please refer to WhatsApp for the link.
General Body Meeting –There will be an in-person General Body meeting held Sunday, March 13th after Holy Qurbana. All members are kindly requested to attend this meeting.

New Year’s Day Service (The Feast of the Circumcision) – There will be Holy Qurbana on Saturday, January 1st. Morning prayer will begin at 8am. All are kindly encouraged to attend.
2022 Calendars – The 2022 church calendars were distributed to each family, during dismissal. For those who were not able to attend the past few services, please collect your calendar from the office, the remainder will be mailed out.
Closing Books – Please provide all pending 2021 church dues to the Treasurer by January 16th.
Dismissal – Due to the COVID-19 surge in Nassau County, we will resume the row by row dismissal process after kaimuth, please follow the guidance of the committee members.
Combined Monthly Retreat & Prayer Day – The Council of Indian Orthodox Churches of Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island will be conducting its monthly retreat and prayer-day on Sun, Dec 19th at 6:30pm via Zoom. Rev. Fr. Abey (Abraham) George, Vicar of St. Thomas, Long Island, will be the main speaker.
MGOCSM of BQLI – will be hosting the Winterfest on Friday, Dec 3rd from 5pm to 9pm at St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Long Island. Rev. Fr. Shawn Thomas will be the main speaker for the event, followed by fellowship activities, such as trivia night and caroling. Our MGOCSM members are encouraged to attend.

Passing of Mr. Rajan Pothen – the brother of Mrs. Daisy Abraham, Sunday night in Thiruvalla, from a heart attack. He was 62 years old. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers, as they will be leaving for India, Tuesday morning.
MGOCSM of the NE American Diocese – will be holding its One Day Conference on Sat, Nov 27th from 12PM to 1:30PM via Zoom. Mrs. Ceena Mathew will be the main speaker and will present on the theme: Peace Amidst the Storm based on Exodus 14:14. Please refer to the website for the registration link.
Passing of Mrs. Sherly Abraham – the oldest sister of Mr. John Abraham and Mrs. Shyni Koshy, Tuesday in Kumbazha, Pathanamthitta. She was 49 years old. The funeral took place Friday. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.

NE American Diocese MMVS Virtual Annual Conference – will be held on Sat, Oct 9th at 9am. Rev. Fr. Thomas Raju of Mavelikkara Diocese will be the main speaker and will present on the theme: “Fragrance of Christ” – 2 Corinthians 2:15. All MMVS members are requested to attend.

MGOCSM Volunteer Event – The MGOCSM would like to thank all the volunteers who came out Saturday to help volunteer at the food pantry in Shelter Rock Church. Our parishioners, led by Ms. Ruth Abraham and Mr. Joshua Mathew, were able to work with other volunteers to help hand out boxes of food to families in need, during these difficult times.
