MMVS Charity Drive – MMVS would like to support those in need in our community through Long Island Cares. A charity donation bin has been placed in the parish hall. We kindly encourage everyone to donate non-perishable food, personal care items, baby supplies, and household items. Monetary donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase additional supplies. Thank you for your generous hearts and support.
MMVS Annual Conference – is on Saturday, October 10th at St. Thomas Malankara Orthodox Church, Unruh Ave. Philadelphia. Bus will be leaving from Levittown by our church. Seats are limited to 54. Please let Sandhya Thomas before September 15th, if you would like to book a seat. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The charge is $50 per person.
Parish Family Conference – We are excited to announce that we will be having our Parish Family Conference, which will be held from August 19th–22nd at The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark.All conference-related information has been shared in the Church Family WhatsApp group.
The Feast of the Dormition of St. Mary – There will be Holy Qurbana for the Feast of the Dormition of St. Mary on Saturday, August 15th at 8am. Members are kindly requested to make arrangements to attend.
Talmeedo Men’s Ministry – is hosting a Camp from August 7-9 at Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center. Our main speaker for this year is Rev. Fr. Geevarghese (Bobby) Varghese. He will be leading a discussion on 1Corinthians 16:13-14, “Watch, stand fast in faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.” We encourage all the men, between the ages of 17- 55, of our diocese to participate.
Special Needs Community Survey – The Northeast Diocese invites parents of children with special needs, as well as adults and youth with special needs, to participate in a brief survey. Your responses will help us identify ways to better support and include you in our parish communities. Please find the link below: link
Sunday School Education Day – will be held on Saturday, May 02 from 1pm to 7:30pm. Rev. Fr. Antonios (Roby) Antony will join us for this educational and fun-filled day!
