- Feast of St. Thomas (Parish Perunal) – There will be a live streamed service for the Feast of St. Thomas (Parish Perunal) on Saturday, July 4th at 7:30AM.
- Live Video-Streaming Services – will continue as follows:
- Holy Qurbana streamed Sundays at 7:30AM via Facebook Live.
- Evening Prayer streamed Saturdays at 6:30PM via Facebook Live.
- Monthly Prayer Meetings on last Sunday of the month at 4PM via Zoom. The next prayer meeting will be Sunday, July 26th at 4PM.
- Public Reopening of Church – Beginning Sunday, July 5th, the church will reopen at a limited capacity (of 50 members) for Holy Qurbana. Lilio (Midnight) Prayer will begin at 7:30AM, Morning Prayer at 8AM, and Qurbana by 8:45AM. Follow the instructions sent via text and posted on the parish website to sign up.
- Passing of Mrs. Mariamma Abraham – the mother of Mr. John Abraham and Mrs. Shyni Abraham Koshy (our previous member) and the wife of our vicar’s brother. She passed away Monday and was 80 years old. The funeral took place on Wednesday, June 17th. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.
- GROW/MMVS – The GROW Ministry and MMVS of the BQLI Area are hosting a mental health awareness workshop through Zoom on Saturday, June 27th from 9:00am to 12:30pm. The first workshop in this series that took place last year was on Anxiety and Stress. This year the discussion will be about Depression and Suicide. This virtual event is open to everyone, men, women and children ages 13 and older, of both the Northeast and Southwest Dioceses. Please let your family and friends know. - Mr. Eapen Joseph – Uncle of Mrs. Rani Paul, passed away Monday, Apr. 6th. He was 74.
- Mr. Joseph Joseph – Uncle of Mrs. Rani Paul, passed away Wednesday, Apr. 15th. He was 78.
- Mrs. Aliamma Joseph – Aunt of Mrs. Rani Paul, passed away Friday, Apr. 24th. She was 78.
- Mrs. Annamma Thomas – Mother of Mrs. Reny Abraham, passed away Tuesday, Apr. 28th in Arizona. She was 85 and is survived by her daughter, 2 sons (Reji & Roy), and 6 grandchildren.
- Mrs. Saramma Abraham – Mother of Mr. Abraham K. Yohannan and Mr. Mathews K. Abraham, passed away Friday, May 29th in New Hyde Park. She was 96 and is survived by her 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

COVID-19 Update
Please see the update below on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and how it’s affecting our parish.

COVID-19 – Due to the impacts of the novel coronavirus and the current mandate in NY:
- Holy Qurbana on Tuesday, Mar 17th for Mid-Lent service has been canceled.
- All evening prayers, for Wednesdays and Saturdays, are canceled.
- All post church activities are canceled, such as in-person spiritual organization meetings and Sunday School.
- There will be no refreshments after church (when there is service) to reduce interactions among parishioners.
