1. FOCUS Meeting – Our next FOCUS Meeting will be held this Friday, June 23^rd at 7pm at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Cheriyan Abraham and Susan Cheriyan. All FOCUS members are requested to attend.
2. Weekly Fasting Prayer – Our weekly fasting prayer will be held at the Church this Friday, June 23^rd from 10am-Noon. All are requested to attend.
3. Basketball Tournament – A friendly reminder that July 1^st Saturday is the STYL Basketball tournament. Kindly make arrangements to attend to show your support.
4. Parish Perunal – A reminder that our Parish Perunal will be held on July 7^th and 8^th Friday and Saturday. As our guest speaker we will have Rev. Fr. Paulose Peter, the Vicar of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, White Plains, NY.
5. Parish Picnic – Our Parish Summer Picnic will be held on Saturday, July 22^nd. Kindly make arrangements to attend.
6. Thomas Celebration – The St. Thomas Ecumenical Federation is having their St. Thomas Celebration on Sunday, July 2^nd at 4pm. Kindly see the flyer below for details.

1. Feast of Pentecost – Next Sunday is the Feast of Pentecost. We will be starting Morning Prayer at 7:30am.
2. Parish Committee Meeting – There will be a Parish committee meeting on Sunday June 4^th after service. All Committee members are requested to attend this meeting.
3. MMVS Prayer Meeting – The MMVS Prayer meeting Friday, June 9^th from 10am – 12pm at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham K Yohannan and Rosemary Yohannan. Those who are available that day are requested to attend.
4. GROW Conference – A friendly reminder regarding GROW Conference. It will be held on June 24^th Saturday at HTRC. The speaker for the conference is Rev. Fr. Sujit Thomas. If you have not registered yet kindly do so as soon as possible.
5. New Holy Qurbana Books – are ready for release. Pre-order forms are sent out to the parish. Each book costs $15. If you are interested in purchasing your own copy kindly see Mr. Sinu Jacob, the Treasurer.

It is with great sadness that we wish to inform you of the passing of Kevin Mathew. He is survived by his parents Mr. Abraham O. Mathew & Mrs. Suja Mathew, and siblings Julia Mathew and Jason Mathew.  Please see the wake & funereal details below.

St. Thomas Malankara Orthodox Church, LI was blessed with the presence of H.G. Dr. Joshua Mar Nicodimos, Metropolitan of the Nilackal Diocese and the Assistant Metropolitan of Mavelikara Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.

• Next week, H.G. Joshua Mar Nicodimos, Metropolitan of Nilackel Diocese will celebrate Holy Qurbana.
• We will be having our next Parish General Body meeting on Sunday, April 30th after refreshments. All eligible members are requested to attend.

St. Thomas Malankara Orthodox Church, Long Island will be having Holy Qurbana on Thursday, April 6th for the 40th day of Great Lent. Evening prayer will begin at 6:30pm. All are welcome to attend!

The Assistant Vicar, Rev. Fr. Abraham(Abey) George, and the parishioners of St Thomas Malankara Orthodox Church of Long Island would like to wish our Vicar, Very. Rev. Dr. Yohannan Sankarathil, Cor-Episcopa, a blessed Happy Birthday!

Achen has been our spiritual mentor for the past 31 years serving at St. Thomas, LI. He has ceaselessly pushed our parish to grow in all levels. From the origins of the American Diocese, Achen’s hard work and dedication towards serving the Diocese cannot be forgotten. All the spiritual organizations of St. Thomas Long Island are very thankful to him for bestowing his knowledge and ideas to help the parish grow as God’s faithful children. Through his prayers and his ministry, the parishioners are strengthened and are moved to grow closer towards Christ and His Kingdom.

We want to wish him a very Happy Birthday, and a blessed ministry in the Lord’s vineyard!
