1. September Mid-Week Services – All those who wish to participate are welcome.
   1. The Nativity of St. Mary – We will be celebrating Holy Qurbana for the Nativity of St. Mary on Tuesday, September 7th at 6:30pm.
   2. The Feast of the Holy Cross – We will be celebrating Holy Qurbana for the Feast of the Holy Cross on Monday, September 13th at 6:30pm
2. MGOCSM Volunteer Event – The MGOCSM would like to thank all the volunteers who came out Saturday to help volunteer at the food pantry in Shelter Rock Church. Our parishioners, led by Ms. Ruth Abraham and Mr. Joshua Mathew, were able to work with other volunteers to help hand out boxes of food to families in need, during these difficult times.

1. Passing of Mr. T. M. Varghese – the brother of Mr. Mathew Thomas, Monday in Kumbanad, Kerala.  He was 78 years old.  The funeral took place Saturday.  Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers. 
2. 2020 & 2021 Graduates – Reminder, all students who graduated from high school or college in either 2020 or 2021 are requested to submit their names to the Secretary.
3. Baby Girl – Mr. Nitin & Mrs. Seethal Raju were blessed with a baby girl, Amelia Mary Raju, on Thursday, August 26th.  Please keep the baby, mother, and family in your prayers.

1. Passing of Mr. Varughese Thekkakara – husband to Mrs. Mariamma Varughese and father of Mrs. Anija Tom and Dr. Ansu Joy, early Sunday morning. 2. 2020 & 2021 Graduates – Reminder, all students who graduated from high school or college in either 2020 or 2021 are requested to submit their names to the Secretary.
3. 2021 Annual Convention – The Council of Indian Orthodox Churches of Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island will be conducting its 2021 Annual Convention on Sat, Aug 28th and Sun, Aug 29th virtually, starting at 6:30pm. The convention will be inaugurated by H.G. Zachariah Mar Nicholovos and the speakers will be Rev. Fr. Isaac B. Prakash, Vicar of St. Peter’s & St. Paul’s, Houston and Rev. Fr. Jerry John Mathew, Vicar of St. Mary’s, Detroit.

1. Passing of Mr. T. K. Daniel – the father of Mr. Koshy Daniel, Monday in Haripad, Kerala.  He was 100 years old and a retired military officer.  His children will be going to India.  Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers. 
2. 40th Day Memorial – There will be Holy Qurbana conducted on Thursday, August 19th at 6:30pm for the 40th day orma of Bava Thirumeni.

1. General Body Meeting – There will be an in-person General Body meeting on Sunday, August 8th after Holy Qurbana. All members are kindly requested to attend this meeting.

1. Eternal Rest for His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Paulose II – Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan. Let us keep our departed Bava Thirumeni in our prayers. May the memory of Thirumeni be eternal.
2. Passing of Mr. Sankarathil G. George – the grandfather of Mrs. Tigi Abraham, Saturday in Konni, India. He was 103 years old. The funeral took place Sunday. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.
3. Housekeeping Request – Reminder, for those who have forgotten their jackets at church, please be sure to collect them in the next few weeks. The unclaimed coats will eventually be donated.

5. **Combined Monthly Retreat & Prayer Day – The Council of Indian Orthodox Churches of Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island will be conducting a condolence meeting for Bava Thirumeni prior to its scheduled monthly retreat and prayer-day, starting at 6:30pm on Sunday, July 18th via Zoom.  Rev. 1. BQLI MGOCSM Bible Study – The MGOCSM of BQLI will be having a Bible Study on Friday, July 9th at 6:30pm via Zoom. Reverend Father Seraphim Majmudar, a priest of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, will present on the topic ‘Understanding One’s Own Identity’.  Registration link: www.tinyurl.com/BQLIidentity

   1. Thank you to all members who attended our Parish Perunal this weekend and a special thanks to Mr. Stephen Thomas and Mr. Thomas Yohannan, who were the perunal coordinators for this year.  
   2. Reminder, if you have not done so already, all members were kindly requested to make a donation of $100 for the perunal.  Please give your donation to the Treasurer, as soon as possible.

Parish Perunal – Reminder, we will be celebrating our Parish Perunal with evening prayer on Fri, July 2nd at 6:30pm and Holy Qurbana on Sat, July 3rd at 8am.  All members are kindly requested to make a donation of $100 for the perunal.  Please give your donation to the Treasurer this week.  The form to sign-up for Holy Qurbana on Saturday, has been sent out for those who wish to participate.  Be sure to register as soon as possible, so that there is an accurate headcount for food.
2. Phases of Reopening – As NY lifts restrictions, we will begin to open up the church in phases.  Starting with Holy Qurbana on July 4th, there will no longer be a sign-up process and guests are welcome to attend.  100% capacity will be allowed in the sanctuary and lobby.  However, everyone is still required to wear masks at all times.  We also ask that families still sit together and try to maintain a seat or two distance from each other.  Kaimuth will go back to the normal process.  General absolution will remain in place.  The basement will not be opened for full use yet and there will be no post-church activities.  We will continue to lift restrictions, phase by phase.

1. Monthly Prayer Meeting – This month’s online prayer meeting will be Sun, June 27th at 4:30PM for the entire parish via Zoom.  The link will be texted out later this week.
2. Feast of St. Peter & St. Paul – will be held this Mon, June 28th at 6:30pm.  No sign-up is required.  All those who wish to participate are welcome.
3. Annual Subscriptions (Half-Year) – Members are requested to submit half of their annual subscriptions by June 30th, along with Catholicate Day and Diocesan Day dues owed.  
4. Parish Perunal – Reminder, we will be celebrating our Parish Perunal with evening prayer on Fri, July 2nd at 6:30pm and Holy Qurbana on Sat, July 3rd at 8am.  All members are kindly requested to make a donation of $100 for the perunal. Please give your donation to the Treasurer as soon as possible.  Sign-up will be required for Holy Qurbana on Saturday.  There will be a form sent out later in the week for those who wish to participate.  
5. Sign-Up Process – The sign-up process will continue for a little while longer.  During that time, please be sure to register as soon as possible, so that there can be an accurate headcount to plan for food orders and services accordingly.  For cancellations, please notify the Secretary as early as possible since that affects the headcount, as well.

1. The Fast of the Twelve Apostles (13-day Lent) – The 13-day Lent begins this Wed, June 16th till the 29th. All members are kindly requested to observe. 
2. Annual Diocesan Assembly of the Northeast American Diocese – The Annual Diocesan Assembly of our Diocese will be held on Sat, June 19th, at our parish.  Please keep the Diocesan Assembly in your prayers.

Combined Monthly Retreat & Prayer Day – The Council of Indian Orthodox Churches of Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island will be conducting its monthly retreat and prayer-day Sun, June 20th at 7pm through Zoom.  Rev. Fr. George Cherian (Dileep Achen), Vicar of St. John’s, Bellerose, NY,  will be the main speaker.
