New Year’s Day Service – This is a reminder that there will be Holy Qurbana on January 1st at 7:30am. In order to sign up for New Year’s Day service, message the secretary before Wednesday, December 30th. No more spots will be provided after this date or once capacity has been reached. If you sign up, be sure to come by 8:30am; doors will be closed after that time.

Passing of Mrs. Saramma Das – the sister of Mr. Mathew Thomas, Wednesday in Thiruvalla, India. She was 80 years old. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers
General Body Meeting – There will be an in-person General Body meeting held in the sanctuary on Sunday, November 22nd after Holy Qurbana. We will be holding elections for 2021 at this meeting. For all eligible members, there will be a separate sign up to attend, similar to Sunday service, that will begin this week.

MGOCSM Canned Food Drive – The MGOCSM is hosting a canned food drive for the Mary Brennan Inn. Please bring in any non perishable canned or boxed food items. There is a box placed in the lobby of the church. On your way in, please drop the items in the box before entering the sanctuary. The youth is kindly requesting that all donations be brought in a grocery bag, to avoid any cross contamination. The last date for collection will be Sunday, December 6th. Passing of Mr. P. D. Joseph – the grandfather of Mr. Mathew John, on Monday in Cheppad, India. He was 88 years old. The funeral will take place Tuesday. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.

Baby Girl – Mr. Abraham K. Yohannan & Mrs. Rosemary Yohannan were blessed with a baby granddaughter, Madelyn Rose Paul, Tuesday, July 28th. Please keep the baby and family in your prayers.
Passing of Mrs. Annamma George – the mother of Mrs. Suja Mathew, Monday morning in Bhilai, India, after fighting a long battle with breast cancer. She was 74 years old. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.

Public Reopening of Church – Beginning Sunday, July 5th, the church will reopen at a limited capacity (of 50 members) for Holy Qurbana. Lilio (Midnight) Prayer will begin at 7:30AM, Morning Prayer at 8AM, and Qurbana by 8:45AM. Follow the instructions sent via text and posted on the parish website to sign up.
Passing of Mrs. Mariamma Abraham – the mother of Mr. John Abraham and Mrs. Shyni Abraham Koshy (our previous member) and the wife of our vicar’s brother. She passed away Monday and was 80 years old. The funeral took place on Wednesday, June 17th. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.
GROW/MMVS – The GROW Ministry and MMVS of the BQLI Area are hosting a mental health awareness workshop through Zoom on Saturday, June 27th from 9:00am to 12:30pm. The first workshop in this series that took place last year was on Anxiety and Stress. This year the discussion will be about Depression and Suicide. This virtual event is open to everyone, men, women and children ages 13 and older, of both the Northeast and Southwest Dioceses. Please let your family and friends know. MGOCSM Annual Thanksgiving Conference – The MGOCSM of the NE American Diocese will be holding it one day conference on Saturday, Nov. 30th at St. Stephen’s Orthodox Church of Midland Park, NJ from 8:30AM to 5PM. Flu Shot Clinic – We will be hosting a flu shot clinic in conjunction with Walgreens after service next Sunday November 3rd. Anyone who has not yet been vaccinated can receive the flu shot for free that day. In order to assure we have enough supplies we kindly request that you sign up in advance if you need the vaccine. Please see Mr. Joshua Mathew or Mrs. Sini Jablonski to sign up today. Also as an additional service the MMVS will be conducting blood pressure readings and glucose readings.
Christmas Caroling Practice – We will be having our first Christmas Caroling practice starting on Nov. 9th after Evening Prayer. All members are requested to participate.
Feast of St. Geevarghese Mar Gregorios (Parumala Thriumeni’s Perunal) – Will be celebrated next Sunday Nov. 3rd. Special thanks to all the people that offered to bring food for the feast day. For those who didn’t get a chance to offer food are more than welcome to offer some money to cover other expenses.

House Visit Coordinator – Mr. T.P Mathews was selected as the new house visit coordinator, and he will be reaching out to the families to coordinate house visits with the Clergy.
