Holy Qurbana (August 2nd) Sign-Up – The church will be open again at a limited capacity (of 50 members) for Holy Qurbana, which will continue for Sunday service only. Please follow the instructions, which were sent via text and posted on the parish website to sign up for Sunday, August 2nd. The deadline is Wednesday, July 29th. If you have attended prior services, you will be placed on a waiting list if you leave a voicemail or text to sign up for August 2nd’s service.

Public Reopening of Church – Beginning Sunday, July 5th, the church will reopen at a limited capacity (of 50 members) for Holy Qurbana. Passing of Mrs. Mariamma Abraham – the mother of Mr. John Abraham and Mrs. Shyni Abraham Koshy (our previous member) and the wife of our vicar’s brother. She passed away Monday and was 80 years old. The funeral took place on Wednesday, June 17th. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.
GROW/MMVS – The GROW Ministry and MMVS of the BQLI Area are hosting a mental health awareness workshop through Zoom on Saturday, June 27th from 9:00am to 12:30pm. The first workshop in this series that took place last year was on Anxiety and Stress. This year the discussion will be about Depression and Suicide. This virtual event is open to everyone, men, women and children ages 13 and older, of both the Northeast and Southwest Dioceses. Please let your family and friends know. MGOCSM Annual Thanksgiving Conference – The MGOCSM of the NE American Diocese will be holding it one day conference on Saturday, Nov. 30th at St. Stephen’s Orthodox Church of Midland Park, NJ from 8:30AM to 5PM. Flu Shot Clinic – We will be hosting a flu shot clinic in conjunction with Walgreens after service next Sunday November 3rd. Anyone who has not yet been vaccinated can receive the flu shot for free that day. In order to assure we have enough supplies we kindly request that you sign up in advance if you need the vaccine. Please see Mr. Joshua Mathew or Mrs. Sini Jablonski to sign up today. Also as an additional service the MMVS will be conducting blood pressure readings and glucose readings.
Christmas Caroling Practice – We will be having our first Christmas Caroling practice starting on Nov. 9th after Evening Prayer. All members are requested to participate.
Feast of St. Geevarghese Mar Gregorios (Parumala Thriumeni’s Perunal) – Will be celebrated next Sunday Nov. 3rd. Special thanks to all the people that offered to bring food for the feast day. Passing of Mrs. Kunjamma Mathai – the mother of Mr. George P. Mathai and Mr. Samuel P. Mathai yesterday in India. She was 97 years old. The family will be traveling to India this week for the funeral on Thursday. Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers.
