1. Passing of Mr. T. K. Daniel – the father of Mr. Koshy Daniel, Monday in Haripad, Kerala.  He was 100 years old and a retired military officer.  His children will be going to India.  Please keep the bereaved family in your prayers. 
2. 40th Day Memorial – There will be Holy Qurbana conducted on Thursday, August 19th at 6:30pm for the 40th day orma of Bava Thirumeni.  
3. 2020 & 2021 Graduates – Reminder, all students who graduated from high school or college in either 2020 or 2021 are requested to submit their names to the Secretary.

1. BQLI MGOCSM Bible Study – The MGOCSM of BQLI will be having a Bible Study on Friday, July 9th at 6:30pm via Zoom. Reverend Father Seraphim Majmudar, a priest of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, will present on the topic ‘Understanding One’s Own Identity’.  Registration link: www.tinyurl.com/BQLIidentity
2. Housekeeping Request – For those who have forgotten their jackets at church, please be sure to collect them in the next few weeks.  The unclaimed coats will eventually be donated.
3. Parish Perunal – 
   1. Thank you to all members who attended our Parish Perunal this weekend and a special thanks to Mr. Stephen Thomas and Mr. Thomas Yohannan, who were the perunal coordinators for this year.  
   2. Reminder, if you have not done so already, all members were kindly requested to make a donation of $100 for the perunal.  Please give your donation to the Treasurer, as soon as possible. 

1. Monthly Prayer Meeting – This month’s online prayer meeting will be Sun, June 27th at 4:30PM for the entire parish via Zoom.  The link will be texted out later this week.
2. Feast of St. Peter & St. Paul – will be held this Mon, June 28th at 6:30pm.  No sign-up is required.  All those who wish to participate are welcome.
3. Annual Subscriptions (Half-Year) – Members are requested to submit half of their annual subscriptions by June 30th, along with Catholicate Day and Diocesan Day dues owed.  
4. Parish Perunal – Reminder, we will be celebrating our Parish Perunal with evening prayer on Fri, July 2nd at 6:30pm and Holy Qurbana on Sat, July 3rd at 8am.  All members are kindly requested to make a donation of $100 for the perunal. Please give your donation to the Treasurer as soon as possible.  Sign-up will be required for Holy Qurbana on Saturday.  There will be a form sent out later in the week for those who wish to participate.  
5. Sign-Up Process – The sign-up process will continue for a little while longer.  During that time, please be sure to register as soon as possible, so that there can be an accurate headcount to plan for food orders and services accordingly.  For cancellations, please notify the Secretary as early as possible since that affects the headcount, as well.

1. Feast of Ascension – will be held this Wednesday, May 12th at 6:30pm.  No sign-up is required.  All those who wish to participate are welcome.
2. Feast of Pentecost – will be celebrated Sunday, May 23rd.  Lilio prayer will begin at 7am and morning prayer at 7:30am.  H.G. Zachariah Nickolovas will be conducting Holy Qurbana at the parish for his annual visit.  Since it is a Sunday, there will be the usual sign-up process.
3. MMVS Food Drive – The MMVS of this parish, along with the BQLI area, will be collecting canned goods and dried food to help those who are in need due to the pandemic.  For those who wish to donate, there will be a box located in the lobby until May 30th.
4. Combined Monthly Retreat & Prayer Day – The Council of Indian Orthodox Churches of Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island will be conducting its next monthly retreat and prayer day Sunday, May 16th at 7pm through Zoom.  Rev. Fr. John Thomas Alummoottil (Vicar of St. Mary’s, Jackson Heights, NY) will be the main speaker. All members are kindly requested to attend the event.

Holy Qurbana Sign-Up – The form to sign up for Sunday’s service was sent out as a link via text message on Monday.  Once we have reached capacity, the form will be closed and the link will not work.  Each household should sign up only once.  You will see a confirmation on the next page after you submit it.  If you have any questions, please contact the Secretary.

2. 41st Day Orma – There will be Holy Qurbana conducted on Saturday, May 1st at 8:30 AM for the 41st day in memory of Achen, hosted by the family.  After Qurbana, there will be a memorial meeting.  Packaged refreshments will also be handed out at the end.  The family would like to extend an invitation to the parishioners.  For those who wish to participate, please reach out to Kochamma and the family.

4. Baby Girl – Mr. Koshy & Mrs. Lali Daniel were blessed with a baby granddaughter, Talia Elise Daniel, Sunday, April 18th. Please keep the baby and family in your prayers.
5. Housekeeping Requests – 
   1. For those who have forgotten their jackets at church, please be sure to collect them in the next few weeks.  The coat racks will be moved once it is warmer, to create more space.
   2. Reminder, before entering the sanctuary, please place your shoes on the shelves, rather than the floor.  It will provide more space and cause less congestion during dismissal, especially if there is food handed out.

   • Wednesday Evening Prayer – During the Lenten season, there will be evening prayer on Wednesdays at 6:30pm, in addition to Saturday evening prayers.  Sign-up not required.

5. Switched Jackets – There were two dark blue parka jackets accidentally switched after Christmas service.  One of the jackets has been returned to the rack.  If you have the other jacket, please bring it in to leave on the rack and take yours.

With the hope in the resurrection, we wish to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Annamma (Lilly) Mathew Arikupuram, wife of Mr. John Mathew Arikupuram, and mother of Mrs. Reena Mathew and Mr. Roshan Mathew Arikupuram.
