- Feast of Ascension – We will be celebrating the Feast of Ascension, this Wednesday, May 29th. Evening Prayer will begin at 6:30PM. All members are kindly requested to make arrangements to attend.
- MMVS Diabetics Education Seminar – the MMVS is conducting an informational seminar on diabetics education on June 15th @ 4pm at the church. They will be going over the basics of the disease and how to manage it.
- MMVS Charity Drive – MMVS is doing a charity drive and working with The Safe Center in Bethpage. They are collecting kitchen essentials (pots and pans) in good condition, household cleaning supplies, ladies unused bags no perishable foods and books. There are boxes in the basement where the supplies can be dropped off. Please check with MMVS members for more information.
- MGOCSM Fellowship Event – The MGOCSM will be having a fellowship event at the Coldstone Creamery in Garden City (984 Franklin Avenue, Garden City NY 11530) next Sunday June 2nd at 5pm. All youth members are encouraged to partake in this event. Please contact Emily George if you need a ride.
- MGOCSM Sandwich Sale – Next Sunday, the youth will be selling sandwiches to raise funds to support the MGOCSM Martura camp and our parish. All church members are requested to participate to make this venture a success and youth members are requested to come to the church on Saturday, June 1st at 4pm to help prepare the sandwiches.
- Sunday School Assigned Competition – the church level assigned competition will be held on on June 23rd. All sunday school students are encouraged to participate. Please see Principal or Asst. Principal for more details.
- Council of Churches Choir Practice – will be held next Sunday, June 2nd at 2:30PM at St. Gregorios Orthodox Church, Cherry Lane. All who are interested in participating are kindly requested to attend.
