The Council of Indian Orthodox Churches of BQLI region – invites you, your family and friends to have a Family Night of entertainments and dinner. Venue – St. Thomas Orthodox Church Levittown, a Charity Fundraising Event. The admission is by Pass only. For details, please contact Mr. Philipose Samuel.
The MGOCSM of BQLI – will be hosting an in-person event titled BQLI Fall Fest, on Saturday, October 29th from 9am to 1pm at St. Gregorios Orthodox Church, Queens. We are blessed to have Seminarian Rohan Daniel, as the main speaker. This event will include group discussions regarding the topic of cyberbullying and how we can handle these types of situations.

1st Day of Sunday School- The kids were excited to get back to their classes and they all enjoyed the ice cream truck!
Sunday School Trip – our Sunday School took a trip to the Queen County Farm.

Diocesan Reception of His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews III – There will be a diocesan reception on Sunday, September 25th, held at our parish for Bava Thirumeni’s arrival. Lining up for the procession will begin at 3:30pm.

Sunday School Library – Reminder that the Sunday School library with Orthodox themed books will be open all year long and set up on the Parish Hall stage. Each family should sign up only once and under one form. Be sure to submit as soon as possible, so that we and the diocese can have an accurate headcount.

2022 Annual Convention – The Council of Indian Orthodox Churches of Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island is conducting its Annual Convention on Friday, Sat and Sun, Sep 2,3 &4 2022 at 6.30pm.
- Sep 02nd – at St Thomas Orthodox Church, Levittown LI, main speaker Rev. Dn. Abraham (Shojil) Abraham
- Sep 3rd – at our Lady of Snows, Floral park, Main speaker Rev Fr Markose John
- Sep 4th – at our Lady of Snows Floral park, Main speaker Rev Fr Aji Ninan.

Harvest festival – Our church MMVS members are planning to host a harvest festival, which includes sale of home grown garden vegetables along with delicious bake and cook sake as well as BBQsale on Sep 4th.The money raised will go to our church fund. Men’s forum and the youth are with the MMVS in this event.

Parish Picnic – Reminder, this year’s picnic will be held on Saturday, August 20th at Belmont State Park. The rain date will be Saturday, August 27th. All members are encouraged to participate on this day of fellowship.
MMVS 40th Anniversary – MMVS will be celebrating the 40th year anniversary of the formation of MMVS in our diocese. On Sunday, August 21st, there will be a ceremony after Holy Qurbana, to honor the MMVS members who have been here since 1982.
Sunday School Parents/Teachers Meeting – will take place on Sunday, August 21st after Holy Qurbana. All parents and teachers are requested to attend.
