ST. THOMAS MALANKARA ORTHODOX CHURCH

1. Fast of Nineveh (3-Day Lent) – The Fast of Nineveh will be held from Monday, Feb. 3rd to the 5th.  There will be evening prayer everyday during the fast and will be concluded with Holy Qurbana on Wednesday, Feb. 5th at 6:30PM.
2. Education Day – The Sunday School will be hosting Education Day for all sunday school students on Saturday, Feb. 8th, from 2 to 6pm. Rev. Fr. Andrew Daniel will be our guest speaker. Please remember to give in your $5 registration fee to Amy George or Danniya Samuel.
3. Ordering More Holy Qurbana Books – Just a reminder, if you would like to order Holy Qurbana or Common Prayer books, please stop by the office to submit your name and requested quantity to the Secretary, along with payment to the Treasurer. The cost of each book is $25.  The last day to submit your order and amount owed will be Sunday, Feb. 9th.  

1. Roller Skating Event- Join our Focus/MGOCSM at United Skates of America in Seaford on Sunday, Jan. 12th from 3-5:30pm for a roller-skating fellowship event. All are welcome! The charge to skate is $13 and for those who would like to attend but not skate is $8. Please contact Ms. Sini Jablonski for information about this event. 
2. General Body Meeting – There will be a General Body meeting held on Sunday, Jan. 12th, after Holy Qurbana. It will be to provide an update on the mortgage agreement. All members are requested to attend.

Council of Indian Orthodox Churches Combined Christmas & New Years Program – will be held on Jan. 5th at Glen Oaks HS at 4pm. All members are requested to attend.

1. Baby Boy – Drs. Joel & Fateema Abraham were blessed with a baby boy, Aydhin Abraham, this week. Please keep the baby and the family in your prayers.
2. MGOCSM Meeting– The last MGOCSM meeting of this year will be held at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Vinod Abraham today at 4 pm. All youth members are kindly requested to attend and bring their Qurbana kramam.

   1. Christmas Eve – Evening Prayer will begin at 6:30PM.
   2. Christmas Day – Service will begin at 7AM.
4. 2019 Talent Show – The date for annual talent show is December 29^th at 3pm.  The Talent Show is open to all parishioners who are interested in participating. If you would like to show your talents, please reach out coordinators Mrs. Rani Paul and Mrs. Sumini Thomas. The deadline for submitting programs is today. We wanted to thank all the participants of Christmas Caroling (carolers, drummers, instrument players, Santa), and most importantly all the people that welcomed us into their homes. 2. Feast of Martyrdom of St. Thomas – will be celebrated next Saturday, Dec. 21st. Holy Qurbana will start at 8AM. All members are kindly requested to attend.
3. Altar Server’s Meeting- There will be a meeting for all Altar Servers on Saturday, December 21st at 3:30pm at our church. All Altar Servers are kindly requested to attend.
4. Sunday School – On Sunday, December 22nd, we will be celebrating all December birthdays for Sunday School children.

1. Christmas Caroling – Next Saturday 12/14 will be the last day of Christmas Caroling. We will meet at the home of Mr. Abraham K. Yohannan & Mrs. Rosemary Yohannan at 8:30AM and the vans will leave from there by 8:45AM.
2. FYC 2020 – will take place from July 15 to July 18th at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.  Please see the flyer below for more details.
