FOCUS Trip – to St. Tikhon’s and HTRC was a great success. Special thanks to all those who attended. We had about 16 people including children who attend the trip. You can view the pictures of the trip on the Photos Page.
MMVS Fasting Prayer Meeting – this Friday, June 9th from 10am- Noon at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham K Yohannan and Rosemary Yohannan. These prayer meetings will be held every Friday. Those who are available that day are requested to attend.

Parish Perunal – the Feast of St. Thomas will be held on Friday, July 7th and Saturday, July 8th. We will be having Rev. Fr. Paulose Peter, Vicar of St. Mary’s White Plains Church as our main speaker. Kindly make arrangements to attend.

Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center – Last Monday the Diocese acquired the 320-acre property in Dalton Pennsylvania. The former Fatima Renewal Center is now known as the Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center. Kindly continue to pray and support this new ministry of the Diocese.
New Born Baby Girl – Kindly join us in congratulating Dr. Finny and Anila George on their new born baby girl, Maya Teresa George. Let us keep the newborn and the family in our prayers. Let us keep the new born and her family members in our prayers.

Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center (HTRC)- All members are requested to donate towards the cause of the NE American Diocese.
MMVS Charity Drive – The Marth Mariam Vanitha Samajam will be conducting a charity drive for veterans. A collection box will be kept in the basement to collect household items (unused clothing, lines, blankets, cleaning supplies, kitchen items, footwear, etc.). All are requested to participate in this charity drive.

Great Lent Week 2 Lectionary Great Lent Week 2 Devotional
Great Lent – Just a friendly reminder that Great Lent begins tomorrow Monday, February 27th. If you would like to setup a time for confession kindly contact our clergy as soon as possible.
Evening prayers during Lent – we will be having evening prayer every Wednesday at 6:30pm starting this Wednesday, March 1st during Lent.
Choir Practice – After evening prayers on Wednesday, all the choir members are requested to assemble to go over the songs for Holy Week.
Monthly Prayer Meeting – Our first prayer meeting for the year will begin next Sunday at 5pm at the residence of Valiayachen and Kochamma. All are requested to attend.

Sunday School Education Day – Yesterday we had our Sunday School Education Day led by the MGOCSM of our parish. I want to thank the youth for taking the initiative for organizing the program for the day.
