Weekly Announcments – 7/24/16

1. Last Sunday we had our first Open House and it was a great success. Special thanks to all who helped out!

2.  Wedding Song practice will be held today at 7:30pm at the Church

3. Church Picnic will be held this Saturday, July 30th at Belmont Lake State Park.

4. Our next MMVS Bible study will be held today after refreshments.

5. Special Announcements regarding the MMVS of B/Q/LI area.

a. Bible Study 3 Sessions: Saturday, August 13th , (9am to 12pm) at St. Gregorios, Elmont.

b. Trip to monastery in Long Island. Wednesday, August 17th.  For more details, kindly see Mrs. Rosemary Yohannan for more details.

6. Lancaster Trip is on August 24th . All seats are filled. Kindly give the full payment by Sunday August 7th .

7. The Youth of the Church have also designed a Church T-shirt. They will be selling it today downstairs during refreshments.

Weekly Announcements – 6/26/16

  1. MMVS Bible Study – will be today after refreshments in the auditorium.
  2. Apostles Lent – will conclude this coming Tuesday. If anyone would like to do Holy Confession kindly reach out to either of the Achens.
  3. Church Perunal – This Coming Friday and Saturday. Friday we being at 6:30pm; Saturday, at 8am.
  4. Trip to Lancaster PA – to see the Live production the story of Samson: Sight and Sound. Wednesday, August 24th. Kindly see Danniya or Shojil to sign up or for more details. We have 20 seats left.
  5. STYL Basketball Tournament – is in couple of weeks. We request that we all buy tickets as soon as possible. Those who have already purchased tickets kindly bring the money and give it the responsible persons who are in charge of collecting them.
  6. Parish Open house – will be held on July 17th Sunday from 2-6pm. Flyers will be given out to the community.
  7. Prayer Meeting – tonight at 6:30pm at the residence of Mr. John Mathunni.
  8. Funeral Arrangements for Mrs. Amminiamma John – Monday Wake (6:30pm at Church), Tuesday morning (8:30am)- funeral.

Passing of Mrs. Achamma Simon

On behalf of all the members of St. Thomas Long Island, we would like to announce the passing of the mother of Mr. John Thekkakara & Mr. Varughese Thekkakara. We will continue to pray for the grieving family and send them our heartfelt condolences. Details of the funeral are listed below:

Passing of Mrs. Amminiamma John on 06/24/16
