Basketball Tournament – The Anil John Memorial Basketball Tournament will be held on Saturday July 16th at Island Garden Gym in West Hempstead. The tournament will begin with inauguration at 8.30 am. The committee ask for your prayers, support and presence at the tournament.
Parish Picnic 2022– This year’s picnic will be held on Saturday, Aug 20th at Belmont State Park. (Rain date Aug 27th). We encourage all members to participate on this day of fellowship.
Martura Conference – The MGOCSM of Brooklyn/Queens/LI will be hosting the Annual Martura Camp at our Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center in Dalton, Pennsylvania, from July 27th Wednesday to Saturday July 30th 2022. The theme for this year’s camp is “Reigniting your faith” and the main speakers for this year’s camp is Very Rev. Fr. Timothy Hojniki and Seminarian Basili Mathew. Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul – Holy Qurbana for the end of the fast and to celebrate the feast of Sts. Peter and Paul will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at 6:30pm.
Parish Perunal – Our Parish Perunal will be held on Friday, July 1st and Saturday, July 2nd. On Friday, there will be evening prayer followed by a devotional address by Rev. Fr. Geevarghese Samuel (Sunil). On Saturday, beginning at 8am, there will be morning prayer followed by Holy Qurbana. All members are requested to give their contributions of $100 to the Treasurer for the Perunal and all are requested to attend.

Holy Apostles Lent (13-days Lent) – We are in the season of Lent of the Holy Apostles. All members are kindly requested to observe. Let us spend time in the reading of the scriptures, as well as in fasting and prayer. Holy Qurbana, for the end of the fast and to celebrate the feast of Sts. Baby Boy – Mr. Finny & Mrs. Anila George were blessed with a baby boy, Giannis Alexander George, on Tuesday, June 7th. Please keep the baby, mother, and family in your prayers.
The MMVS Education Grant Drive – of our Diocese has entered into its 40th year since its inception. There are a few activities planned to mark this occasion, such as the sale of raffle tickets, with each ticket costing $40. The funds will provide educational aid to 40 students (at various levels) pursuing higher education in Kerala. Each student will be given 1 lakh rupees or $1500.
The Anil John Memorial Basketball Tournament – will be held on Saturday, July 16th starting at 8am at Island Garden Gym in West Hempstead.
