Feast of St. Thomas – Holy Qurbana will be celebrated this Friday, December 20th at 6:30pm.
Christmas Service – Christmas service Holy Qurbana will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 25th. Morning prayers will begin at 7am.
New Year’s Day Service – New year Holy Qurbana will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 1st at 8 am
Parish Talent Show – Our parish talent night is on December 27th evening at 4pm – 8 pm.
CIOC Christmas and New Year Celebration – is on December 29th at 4:30pm
MGOCSM BQLIEvent – is planning to have an event called Winter Fest on January 3rd, 2025 at 5 pm at St. Stephens Orthodox Church located at 858 Roosevelt Street, Franklin Square, NY 11010. Registration is $10 and will be collected at the door. This event is open to all, and we want to encourage each parish’s MGOCSM to prepare a short program to perform during the event! We will have an open floor where each parish will be able to perform a song, poem, dance, etc. You don’t want to miss it! There will be food, games, music, and much more!
Talent Show – Our parish talent night will be on December 27th. If you or or child are interested in performing, please reach out to Mrs. Ansu Thomas or Mrs. Rani Paul. It will on first come, first serve basis.
MGOCSM Career Fair – The MGOCSM of BQLI will be hosting an area-level Career Fair on October 19th, 2024, at 10am at St. Thomas Orthodox Church located at 110 Schoolhouse Rd, Levittown, NY 11756! This will be a great opportunity for our area’s young people to connect and network with working professionals in the area, learn more about different professions in our community, and ask questions that can help them in their journey to figure out their vocation. There is no registration fee for this event, it is free! All interested MGOCSM members are encouraged to attend.

CIOC Family Night – is on Sunday, September 29th, which will be held at our church @ 4:40pm to 9pm. Please support the project by purchasing the tickets. It’s $30 for individual ticket and $100 for a family of four.
High School & Middle School Ministry Meetup – Sunday school is having a fellowship, bowling event for Middle and High school students on September 2nd, 3:30 pm – 6 pm. It will be at AMF Garden city lanes, garden city. Cost is $10 per student. There will be bowling, food and fellowship time.
CIOC Choir – Council of Indian Orthodox Churches would like to invite anyone interested to join the choir. There is no age limit.
CIOC Convention – will be held on August 3rd & 4th at Our Lady of Snow’s RC Church at Floral park. Main speaker is Fr. Varghese Varghese , Vicar St. George Puthupally, Kerala, India.
Holy Apostles Fast(13 Day Lent) – We are in the season of Lent of the Holy Apostles. Holy Qurbana, for the end of the fast and to celebrate the feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, will be held on Saturday June 29th, 2024. All are requested to attend.
Parish Perunal – Our Parish Perunal will be held on Friday, July 5th evening and Saturday, July 6th. Holy Qurbana will begin at 8:30am on Saturday, July 6th. All are requested to attend.
Parish Picnic – Parish picnic will be held on July 20, 2024 at Belmont Lake State Park.

St. Johns Orthodox Church Musical Concert – St. John’s Orthodox Church, Bellerose is also conducting a Musical Concert to mark the 10th anniversary of the inception of their church on May 26th at Queensborough Community College. This is a fund raising event for (Education Aid charity) in India and for the future of their parish. Your prayers and presence is requested.
St. Andrews Conference – St. Andrew’s Orthodox Church will be hosting a Life After Loss conference on Saturday, June 15th at the Seminary of Immaculate Conception in Huntington, New York. This conference is designed to help faithful navigate grief over the death of a loved one/parent, anticipatory grief, and how to talk to children about death.
