AJM Basketball Tournament – will be held on January 10th. Please support our youth in their fundraising efforts.
2025 Graduates – Please provide your names to the Secretary if any member has graduated from high school, college or graduate school in 2025.

Camp Sabro (High School Students) – The MGOCSM of our Diocese will be hosting the Camp Sabro High School Camp from August 6-9, 2025, at the Holy Transfiguration Retreat Center. Parish Perunal – Our Parish Perunal (Feast of St. Thomas) will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 18-19. Fr. Ninan V George from Chenganoor Diocese will be the main speaker and celebrant. A suggested donation of is $100 is requested.

Parish Lenten Retreat – will be held on 3/29/2025. There will be a sessions held for English speakers and Malayalam speakers, followed by time for confession. Please see the details in the flyer.
MGOCSM Lenten Retreat – The MGOCSM of BQLI is planning to have this year’s Lenten Retreat next week on March 22nd, 2025 at 2pm at St. Gregorios Orthodox Church located at 987 Elmont Road, North Valley Stream, NY 11580. Our main speaker for this retreat is Fr. Jonathan Ivanoff of the Orthodox Christian Church (OCA). This is the perfect opportunity for our young people to reflect and recenter themselves in Christ during this Lenten season!

MGOCSM & FOCUS MovieNight – will be held at our Parish hall on February 7th @ 6:30pm. All are encouraged to attend.
Fast of Nineveh (3-Day Lent) – will be held from Monday, February 10th to the 12th. There will be Evening Prayer every day (6:30PM) during the fast and will be concluded with Holy Qurbana on Wednesday, February 12th at 6:30PM
Sunday School Education Day – will be held at our parish hall on February 15th, from 1PM – 6:00PM, followed by Evening Prayer and dinner. Parents please see the Sunday School parents WhatApp Group for registration details.

MGOCSM BQLIEvent – is planning to have an event called Winter Fest on January 3rd, 2025 at 5 pm at St. Stephens Orthodox Church located at 858 Roosevelt Street, Franklin Square, NY 11010. Registration is $10 and will be collected at the door. This event is open to all, and we want to encourage each parish’s MGOCSM to prepare a short program to perform during the event! We will have an open floor where each parish will be able to perform a song, poem, dance, etc. You don’t want to miss it! There will be food, games, music, and much more!
